About
Matthew Sumpter is a photographer based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His work is rooted in curiosity about people, the places they inhabit, and moments that go unnoticed.
Working across street photography, documentary, portraiture, and landscape, he is drawn to unguarded gestures, unexpected juxtapositions, and moments of solitude, humor, and connection.
